The biggest releases out of E3

In just a few days’ time (13th -15th June), E3 (the world’s premier event for computer, video and mobile games and related products) takes place. At E3, the video game industry’s top talent pack the Los Angeles Convention Center, connecting tens of thousands of the best, brightest, and most innovative in the interactive entertainment industry. The Generation Media team, among with the rest of the entertainment industry, are awaiting the biggest releases to come out of the show, including the below to name just a few:

  • FIFA 18
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2
  • Destiny 2
  • Need For Speed (new title)
  • Crackdown 3
  • Call of Duty: WWII
  • Wolfenstein
  • The Evil Within 2
  • Days Gone
  • Last of Us 2
  • Uncharted: Lost Legacy
  • Mario Odyssey
  • Assassins Creed: Origins
  • Far Cry 5
  • The Crew 2
  • Bioshock (new title)


Orgainsers ESA (Entertainment Software Association) have been keen to highlight the amount of new attendee’s exhibiting the show, including 79 new companies, including the likes of Cartoon Network and Lenovo.

The number of social and mobile exhibitors is also due to pass 100 for the first time, while VR will be represented by 126 exhibitors – a reported 138 per cent year-on-year increase.

In total, over 2,300 products will be on show, over 75 of which will be new announcements
